70 years of Miss Wellington serves as museum exhibit

WELLINGTON – From shining crowns and sparkling dresses to pretty portraits and posters,the Ellis Art Center of Collingsworth County Museum celebrates 70 years of Miss Wellington with a special exhibit, created by Curator Karen Caldwell, with artifacts from former winners.

EX-STUDENTREUNION The annual Wellington Ex-Student Association is set Saturday, Aug. 5 in the renovated Lewis Building, next door to the Ritz Theatre. Registration is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Registration fee is $10 for ex-students and $2 for guests and former teachers and coaches.

SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM Open to youth ages two-18 years old, the Wellington Summer Feeding Program takes place from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday until Wednesday, July 12 at the Wellington Opportunity Center, 817 West Ave.
