LIONS FIESTA FUNDRAISER The annual Wellington Lions Club Fiesta Pile-On fundraiser set for 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at the school cafeteria, 1505 Childress St., prior to the Skyrocket versus Wheeler Mustang football game. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children 12-and-under.

Wellington Methodist Women plan fall bazaar fundraiser

WELLINGTON – A tradition from the 1950s, the Wellington Methodist Women will host their annual Fall Bazaar from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at the fellowship hall, 911 Bowie St.

Hundreds experience Living History weekend

WELLINGTON – Hundreds of students and history enthusiasts converged upon the Powell Park campground site Friday, Oct. 6 and Saturday, Oct. 7 for the third annual Rocky Sprott Living History weekend, hosted by Sons of Confederate Veterans Charles Goodnight, Frontier Reg. Camp No. 2280.
The Wellington Ritz Theatre’s annual Halloween Spooktacular canned food drive is set for Monday, Oct. 23.
