WELLINGTON – The Wellington Independent School District (ISD) Board of Education met in a special meeting Thursday, June 22 in the superintendent’s office.

WELLINGTON RODEO Produced in conjunction with McCloy Rodeo Company, performances of Wellington’s 20th Annual Fourth of July Rodeo are set for 7:30 p.m. nightly Thursday, June 29-Saturday, July 1 at Wellington Fairgrounds. Admission is $10 for adults 18 years and older and $5 for those 17 and under.

WELLINGTON – As the 2023 Wild & Free on 83 event approaches, the Wellington Methodist Women (WMW) are making plans for a free photography exhibit from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5 in the Fellowship Hall of First Methodist Church, 901 Bowie St.

WELLINGTON – In a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, 31 Wellington Elementary School kindergarten students walked across the gymnasium of Wellington High School to accept their diplomas from their tea chers.
