Memphis turns to county for police coverage

MEMPHIS — The Memphis City Council gave its approval to an interlocal agreement with the Hall County Sheriff ’s Office Monday night, April 27, that calls for the county to provide law enforcement services in the city through Sept. 30.
The MPACT Color Run, sponsored by Childress Youth Recreational League, raises cancer awareness, inviting runners of all ages to participate in a color run, kids’ dash and cancer patient and memorial walk Saturday, April 25 at Fair Park. All proceeds, including T-shirt and entry fees, benefitted We Can Care, a local nonprofit organization that aids Childress County cancer patients. THROUGH THE LENS OF LIZ
