Wellington Care Center supports Skyrockets

Producers acquire awareness at Collingsworth County Crop Tour

COLLINGSWORTH COUNTY – Plentiful summer rainfall and a cloudy morning set the scene for the 2025 Collingsworth County Crop Tour, hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, on Friday, Sept. 5. Producers gathered at 8 a.m. at Wischkaemper Farms, four miles north of Quail, to open the event.

WHS Class of 1985 embraces 40th reunion

WELLINGTON – The Wellington High School Class of 1985 celebrated its 40th year reunion Friday, Sept. 12-Saturday, Sept. 13 in conjunction with Skyrocket homecoming. Some had attended school in Wellington through the years, and a couple had graduated a year early.
