Who doesn’t like to go to Walmart every now and then? Residents of Wellington Care Center (WCC) recently boarded the van with the transportation director and activity director for an outing to Walmart. “From picking out favorite snacks to sharing lots of laughs along the way, it was a day full of smiles and great memories,” commented WCC Administrator Nikki Hathaway. “Moments like these remind us how special it is to get out, explore and enjoy time together.” WELLINGTON CARE CENTER

Miss Irish Rose 2026 Adlee Lambert, of Childress, volunteers at New4U Thrift Store Wednesday, April 29. “I had the opportunity to volunteer at my local thrift store, and I’m so grateful to serve and support something bigger than myself,” Lambert said. “From sorting donations to organizing products, it’s such a rewarding feeling knowing even the smallest tasks can make a difference in my community. On April 26, the Wellington Church of the Nazarene congregation observes Blue Sunday.
