MEMPHIS — Memphis High School (MHS) teacher Trina Hardin was recently named the Memphis Independent School District (ISD) Secondary Teacher of the Year, a title voted on by fellow Memphis Independent School District (ISD) teachers.

SAN MARCOS – “This artwork represents my point of view, because it portrays my dad’s sense of humor, where my appreciation for making others laugh came from,” explained Addy Mock concerning her artwork that advanced to the recent State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) and earned a Gold Seal.

Childress Senior Citizens schedule new date for hamburger fundraiser

CHILDRESS — Following the cancellation of the May Hamburger Fundraiser, due to inadvertent conflicts, the Childress Senior Citizens Board recently rescheduled the fundraiser dinner for Friday, June 14.

Childress County AgriLife Extension to offer summer camps for all ages

CHILDRESS — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Childress County will offer three interactive learning camps this summer, including a Cooking Camp for Kids, a Farm to Table Day Camp and an Adulting 101 Day Camp for Teens.
