CHILDRESS — Twelve Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Childress District employees were recently recognized for their years of service with the State of Texas by TxDOT Childress District Engineer Darwin Lankford.

CHILDRESS — The Childress High School (CHS) Class of 2024 received $910,703 in scholarships at the CHS Senior Scholarship and Awards Ceremony Thursday, May 23 in the CHS gymnasium. “We are so proud of their accomplishments,” CHS Counselor Jody Piper said.

WELLINGTON – Hosted by Glynn Moore Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 6439, Wellington’s typical Memorial Day ceremony began at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27 at the Veteran’s Monument on the courthouse square. Post Commander Benito Castillo welcomed the crowd of around 100 guests.
