WELLINGTON – To open the 11:30 a.m. business meeting of the Wellington Ex-Student Association on Saturday, Aug. 2, President Renee Mitchell Hanna, Wellington High School (WHS) Class of 1975, welcomed visitors in the Club Room of the Bura Handley Community Center.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Ellison Park Renovation Project grant application proposal includes constructing additional parking spaces and functional sidewalks to access Parkview Manor Assisted Living and Wellington High School. The Wellington City Council and Ellison Park Working Group anticipate hearing from TxDOT in October and the Texas Park and Wildlife Department in January 2026 whether the grant applications are approved.
