CHILDRESS/MEMPHIS —Memphis’Lizzie Valle punched her ticket to the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s State Championships, scheduled for Wednesday, March 18-Saturday, March 21 at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg.

Lady Cats pick up additional wins

CHILDRESS — The Childress Lady Cats remain stronger than ever, picking up two additional wins in their 12-game win streak, which has earned them a No. 9 ranking in 3A Region I, according to Texas High School Softball.

CHILDRESS — Area teams, including Childress and Memphis, recently competed at the Bobcat Relays Thursday, March 5 in Childress.“It takes a lot of hands and a lot of heart to host the Bobcat Relays,” Childress Bobcat Boosters said.
