Area players named to 2022 Press Pass Sports Football Team

AMARILLO — Childress Bobcats Da’Reon Mathis, Lamont Nickleberry and Seth Taylor, as well as Wellington Skyrockets Barrett Phillips, Gumaro Rincon and Rey Ramirez and Memphis Cyclone Austin Valle, were named to the 2022 Press Pass Sports Football Team, announced Saturday, Dec. 31.
The Lady Rockets make a big comeback to defeat Little River Academy by a final score of 25-20 on Friday, Dec. 30, finishing the Brownwood Tournament with a 3-2 record. Gifted and Talented students complete ‘cup challenge,’ play human tic-tac-toe

Austin Elementary School and Memphis Middle School Gifted and Talented (GT) students partake in recent meeting activities, including completing the Cup Stack Challenge, in which students worked together using one rubber band and four pieces of string to stack six cups, and playing human tic-tac-toe.
