CHILDRESS — Tuesday, March 12, a Cessna 172 came in from Fort Worth. Wednesday, March 13, a Cessna 182 stopped for fuel, and a Beechcraft Baron flew in from Arizona for fire work. Thursday, March 14, a Cessna 172 came in from Oklahoma.

Overlay project begins on SH 86 in Hall County

TURKEY — A $7.5 million overlay project began the week of Monday, March 18 in Hall County with J. Lee Milligan serving as contractor, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The project will span from the city limits of Turkey on SH 86 to FM 657.
