WHS Class of 2024 garners over $1.3 million in scholarships

WELLINGTON – The 38 members of the Wellington High School (WHS) Class of 2024 accepted 189 scholarships, totaling a whopping, record- setting $1,389,013, during the Baccalaureate and Commencement Ceremony at 7 pm. Friday, May 17 at Skyrocket Football Stadium.

Memphis’ Chloie O’Neal competes in the 2024 Ranch Horse Association of America National Finals Thursday, May 9-Saturday, May 11 at the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene. Competing on her horse, Diggin’ Salano, O’Neal was the reserve champion in the box drive class.
