Dear editor, I read with interest recent articles concerning the needs of Childress Senior Citizens Center.That organization is a lifeline for seniors and something that everyone in Childress should have a concern for.After my father passed, it was the salvation for my mom and peace of mind for us.
Pat Snider is appointed as the Hall County and District clerk by Hall County Judge Ray Powell Thursday, June 27. “After 23 years with Memphis Independent School District (ISD), I have retired, effective July 31,” Snider said. “I look forward to serving the citizens of Hall County.” Snider replaces previous Hall County and District Clerk and Chief Elections Officer Kaci Mills, who recently announced her resignation. WELLINGTON – Mayor Larry Adams opened the 6 p.m. July 1 meeting of the Wellington City Council by welcoming members of the Ellison Park Working Group and additional Wellington Lions Club members. Project Chairman Neal Odom presented a check in the amount of $445,000.
