Dynamic Duo of Keys, Davis lead Childress to victory

CHILDRESS — Bouncing back after an on-the-road loss on Tuesday, Sept. 2, the Childress Lady Cats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fort Elliott Lady Cougars Friday, Sept. 5 in Childress. The victory continues a trend for the Lady Cats’ matchups with the Cougars, as they’ve now won four in a row.

Childress finds first win of season over Breckenridge

CHILDRESS — After a rough season-opening road trip in Week 1, the Childress Bobcats rallied back on home turf, picking up their first win of the season and beating the Breckenridge Buckaroos in a 21-14 final Friday Sept. 5 at Fair Park Stadium.

Junior varsity White plays at 10 a.m., followed by junior varsity Blue at 11 a.m. and varsity at noon.Sept.

Coaches CornerThe Childress Lady Cats take the court in Holliday, falling in a 3-0 matchup against the Lady Eagles with sets of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-14. Currently, the Lady Cats are competing in the Graham Tournament, which began Thursday, Aug. 21 and spans through Saturday, Aug. 23.
