CHILDRESS — Coming off a 50-point victory, the Childress Bobcats were left stunned Friday, Sept. 26, as the City View Mustangs ignited for a 49-30 non-district victory at Fair Park Stadium in Childress.
Wellington High School sophomore Taytum Kane continues the Kane family winning tradition, placing ninth in the 1A-4A division Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Canyon Cross Country Invitational at Canyon High School, clocking a personal record of 12:12.96. CANYON — Childress and Wellington cross country teams recently competed at the Canyon Invitational Saturday, Sept. 20 at Canyon High School, where Lady Rocket Taytum Kane placed ninth in the 1A-4A division, clocking a personal best time 12:12.96. Additional results are as follows.
The Childress High School cross country teams compete at the Crowell Invitational Monday, Sept. 15 at Copper Breaks State Park, where Selah Smith took a first-place individual finish, aiding the Lady Cats to a championship finish.
