Wellington Care Center crafts Fall Festival

Ritz Theatre presents Halloween Spooktacular

Wellington Ritz TheatreThe Wellington Ritz Theatre hosted ghosts and goblins for its 2025 Halloween Spooktacular event, where moviegoers brought a canned food item for free entry at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27. Costume photos began at 6 p.m., and “The Addams Family” served as the feature film.

WELLINGTON – The Wellington City Council met in regular session at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 with City Manager Justin Mixon, Mayor Larry Adams and Councilmembers Jimmy Cantu Jr., Eddie Langford, Brent Martin and Kenneth Warren present.

Bawcom Farms brings in Farmers Co-Op Society #1’s first bale for 2025

WELLINGTON – For the 2025 cotton crop, Bawcom Farms harvested the first bale ginned on Friday, Oct. 10, at Farmers Cooperative Society #1 in Wellington. Gin staff said Leamon Bawcom called in his bales on Tuesday, Oct. 7.
