During the 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 11 Wellington High School (WHS) All-Sports Banquet at the WHS Auditorium, students received recognition for an outstanding year of Skyrocket athletics. WELLINGTON – Previously a Little League field just developed in recent years, the Wellington Girls’ Softball League hit a homerun when they received permission to convert the field to their specifications.

Bobcats fall in area round to Coahoma

CHILDRESS — Making a playoff run, the Childress Bobcats were halted in the area round, succumbing to the Coahoma Bulldogs Thursday, May 7 in Littlefield.Defeating the Bobcats 8-0 in the first game, the Bulldogs pulled a shutout thanks in part to a six-run sixth inning.
