Wellington Elementary Sparklers thank military service men and women as each student placed a U.S. flag near the Veterans Day Hometown Yard Cards tribute on the north lawn of the school Friday, Nov. 11.

CHILDRESS — The Childress Bobcats tore up the Friona Chieftains in a 45-7 sweep Friday,Nov.
Memphis’ Ryder Robison, a junior runner for the Cyclones, finishes 21st out of 147 competitors with a time of 18:14.7 at the Texas UIL Class 2A State Cross Country Championship Friday, Nov. 4 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. WELLINGTON – The Wellington Skyrockets gained a measure of revenge from a year ago and won the outright District 2-2A Division II District Championship in the process, routing the Clarendon Broncos 44-8 on the road on Friday night,Nov.4.
