The varsity Wellington Skyrockets played in the summer Cache Basketball Tournament, going 10-0 this past week in Cache, Okla. Wellington brought home the gold, winning the championship. The three-day event included games in Lawton, Okla., as well as Cache.

The Wellington Elite Lady Rockets went 4-0 this past weekend, winning the Amarillo Hoop 10 tournament 37-17. Team members will be sixth graders at Wellington Junior High School this fall, with the exception of Quinn Roberson, who will be a fifth grader at Wellington Elementary School.
