Memphis athletes compete in 19th Annual Rattlesnake Run

GUYMON, Okla. — Competing in the 19th Annual Rattlesnake Run, Memphis High School senior Ryder Robison capped a fourth-place finish, outrunning 82 competitors with a finishing time of 18:37.64.

WELLINGTON - The Wellington Skyrockets surmounted the Frederick Bombers on both offense and defense to generate a 30-0 shutout win to open the 2023 season Friday night, Aug. 25 at Powell Field.

Cyclones drop season opener to Dimmitt

DIMMITT — The Memphis Cyclones took a hard season-opening loss Friday,Aug.25,falling to the Dimmitt Bobcats in a 36-14 final at Bobcat Stadium. Despite a winless 2022 season, the Bobcats took an early lead, going up 14-0 after the first quarter, which then carried into a 29-0 lead at halftime.

CHILDRESS — Opening the season, the Childress Bobcats earned a hardfought 14-7 home win over the Abernathy Antelopes Friday, Aug. 25 at Fair Park Stadium.
