Valle competes at state

  • Memphis’ Lizzie Valle competes at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association’s (THSWPA) Unequipped State Championship Final Thursday, March 19 at Bert Odgen Arena in Edinburg. At the meet, Valle finished 11th in weight class 198, squatting 285 pounds, bench pressing 135 pounds and deadlifting 310 pounds for a total of 730 pounds. She was also awarded a $1,000 scholarship through the THSWPA. Memphis ISD
