CHILDRESS — Thursday, Oct. 3, a local Cherokee flew,and a Bell 505 helicopter dropped in for fuel on its way from South Carolina to Arizona. An Air Tractor worked in the area, and a local Beechcraft Bonanza made a trip to Lubbock.Friday, Oct. 4, a local Beechcraft King Air flew,and a T-6 Texan practiced in the area. We spotted a burrowing owl, a red-tailed hawk and several killdeers....
