At the pep rally, members of four teams, chosen at random, search for matching shoes to win the game. Cheerleaders mixed up the shoes for the timed event as students raced against the clock.

The Red River Sun/Shauna Salinas Eighth grade Wellington’s Dahmian Salinas (4) and Callen Kane (8) make the tackle at the 20-yard line, while Troy Molina (6), Jacob Garcia (32) and Kingston Molina (60) come to assist in the 30-6 Firecracker victory, which started the season last Thursday, Sept. 8 at River Road.
