WELLINGTON – The Wellington Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) kicked off its 2026 Varmint Hunt with check-in at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, followed by weigh-in at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11. Each two-four-man team paid an entry fee of $400. Heavy-Four Stringer paid 70% for first place, second place and third place. Side pots paid 100% at $25 each, including Heaviest Hog, Most Dogs, Smallest D...
