Bazaar Bear gathers with the Wellington Methodist Women for a preview of the 2025 quilt during a recent Sunday morning worship service. The beautiful keepsake quilt is described by its creator, Gwynna Waller, as “restful to the eyes — something we can just relax with in our crazy world.” The simple half square triangle quilt features decorative art textiles of Morris & Co., founded in 1861 by William Morris. Inspired by nature and early examples of woven textiles he studied at museums, Morris’ designs are famous for their intricate, naturalistic patterns inspired by flora and fauna.
