CHILDRESS —Tuesday, Jan. 16, a Cessna 182, from New Mexico, flew in for fuel. Wednesday, Jan. 17, a Bell 206 helicopter fueled up and stayed overnight, a Cessna 150 stopped in on its way from Oklahoma to Lubbock and an Embraer Phenom flew in from El Paso for a few hours. Thursday, Jan.

Collingsworth County youth rewarded with livestock distinctions

WELLINGTON – Almost 100 animals entered the show ring, exhibited by 54 local youth, at the 2024 Collingsworth County Livestock Show (CCLS) during the frigid cold on Saturday, Jan. 13 at Wellington Fairgrounds.
