Childress downtown tunnels to be closed Sept. 17

CHILDRESS — On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the downtown tunnels, located on Main St. and Commerce St. in Childress, will be closed for inspections, beginning at 8 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The closures are expected to last two hours per tunnel.
