WELLINGTON – Around 75 guests joined in celebrating Mary “Cindy” White’s “Cheers to 50 years!” reception for her incredible service to Collingsworth General Hospital (CGH). A steady stream of visitors began arriving at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 in the dining room of Parkview Manor Assisted Living.

Local youth gearing up for Childress County Youth Project Show this weekend

CHILDRESS — Local youth are gearing up for the two-day Childress County Youth Project Show, which will kick off Friday, Jan. 10 at the Mashburn Event Center and Arena.The Mashburn Event Center and Arena, which opened to exhibitors at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, will open at 7 a.m.

WELLINGTON – The board members of the Collingsworth County Livestock Show are excited to announce the 2025 show, set for Saturday, Jan. 18 at Wellington Fairgrounds.
