CHILDRESS — Tuesday, July 4, a Beechcraft Bonanza practiced in the area, and a Cessna 182 flew in. Wednesday, July 5, a Blackhawk helicopter dropped in for fuel, and a Cirrus came in from Borger. Thursday, July 6, a Mc-Donnell Douglas helicopter stopped in for fuel on its way from Temple to Amarillo. Sunday, July 9, a Cessna 206 stopped for a while on its way from Colorado to Roanoke.
