It’s my 250th article; 2026 is the 250th birthday of our country; and I like big numbers and big trees! For the really big and tall trees, try our west coast or the tropics. By their standards, we don’t have big trees in West Texas, but some are definitely bigger than others. I’ll say, if your tree is 25 feet or higher and/or it is too big to hug, then your tree is a West Texas big tree....
