Heritage Hall Museum updates hours

Courtesy PhotoMemphis’ Heritage Hall Museum recently updated its hours, according to Heritage Hall Museum Director Kim Taylor. The museum, located at 101 S. 6th St., will now be open from 1-5 p.m. every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and third Saturday.

MEMPHIS — Memphis Independent School District (ISD) recognizes fifth six weeks Superintendent’s List students. Students are named to the Superintendent’s List for having the highest grade point average in their class, along with no tardies, absences or office referrals.

Memphis ISD Summer Food Service Program underway

MEMPHIS — The Memphis Independent School District (ISD) Summer Food Service Program is underway, according to Memphis ISD Food Service Director Sherree Foster. A federally-funded program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture, breakfast will be served from 7:45-8:30 a.m.

TxDOT to offer free child car seat inspections in Memphis

CHILDRESS — The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will offer free child car safety seat inspections, as well as free car seats and installation, during a Child Safety Seat Check Event from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 7 at the Memphis Public Library.
