WELLINGTON – A respite from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, a Sunday afternoon concert featured Amarillo College staff Dr. Bruce Lin, pianist, and Dr. Melody Rich, soprano. The duo presented “American Abstract: A Kaleidoscope of The Music of America” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at the Wellington Ritz Theatre.

WELLINGTON – Boss Lion Jeff Thomas welcomed members to the 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 meeting of the Wellington Lions Club in the Fellowship Hall of the Wellington Methodist Church. Lion Rex Henard led the pledge to the American flag and Lion Margret Wood led the pledge to the Texas flag. Lion Brian Moore gave the invocation.
