Wellington Lions celebrate the season with a Chinese Christmas gift exchange for their Monday, Dec. 19 meeting. The bright, yellow Lions International stadium blanket, provided by Lion Cynthia Patterson, turned out to be a hot item with Lion Fraya Hammons stealing the treasure for keeps the third time. WELLINGTON – With Boss Lion Jeff Thomas presiding, Wellington Lions Club met at 7 p.m.Monday,Dec.19 for its annual Christmas party.
Lion Margret Wood and Lion Nancy Harris led the pledges. Lion Brian Moore offered the invocation prior to the holiday meal catered by Geney Gulley and Whitney Wiebe.
