During the deadliest month of the year for pedestrians, the Texas Department of Transportation targets areas of high pedestrian activity and previously reported pedestrian crashes with street teams of “walking billboards,” which display key safety messages for drivers and pedestrians, Monday, Oct. 6 in Childress.
