CHILDRESS — Wednesday, Nov. 22, a local Beechcraft King Air departed, a Piper Cherokee stopped for fuel on its way from Waco to Amarillo and a Cessna Citation, from Houston, fueled up and dropped off a passenger. A Mooney, out of Colorado, took on some fuel, and an experimental airplane brought a pilot in to pick up a Cherokee that had been parked on the ramp for a few days. That Cherokee then departed for Granbury, and the Cherokee from earlier stopped back through again on its way home to Waco.

CHILDRESS — On Monday,Oct.2,two pleas took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Childress County. District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District Luke Inman, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dan Mike Bird presiding by assignment.
