CORPUS CHRISTI – While many students attend church or sports camps, Wellington High School’s One Act Play director Lana Tillman and students, senior Brandon Cooper and sophomore Damiana Peters, traveled to Corpus Christi to participate in Camp on the Coast, a Summer Theatre Workshop that spanned two weeks, Sunday, June 18-Friday, June 30, on the campus of Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi (TAMUCC).

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Independent School District (ISD) Board of Education met in a special meeting Thursday, June 22 in the superintendent’s office. President Cody Phillips called the meeting to order with a quorum present, including Brad Bawcom, Lance Kane, Jonathan Killian, Mark Lemons and Alison Strickland.
