CHILDRESS — Childress head boys’ basketball coach Wayne Parker announced that he is stepping down after six seasons with the Bobcat program Tuesday, March 19.

Memphis Middle School Gifted and Talented (GT) students collaborate to create, design and built direct current motor vehicles, using plywood, cardboard, water bottles and popsicle sticks. Testing the vehicles for accuracy, students tweaked their designs to create more efficient and faster models.

Lady Cyclones take early lead over Munday

MEMPHIS —The Memphis Lady Cyclones pulled a 11-1 win over Munday Friday, March 22, getting on the board in the first inning, thanks to a single by Kali Murphy and an error by Munday.
In the second inning, the Lady Cyclones furthered their two-run lead, putting up five runs on four hits.
