ABERNATHY – Childress will advance 16 athletes to the upcoming UIL 3A Area 1-2 Meet, following four individual district championship sweeps, including wins in the 4x100-meter relay, 100-meter hurdles, shot put and discus, at the UIL 3A District 2 Meet Thursday, April 4-Friday, April 5 in Abernathy.

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Skyrockets soared past the Memphis Cyclones in a 12-9 final Monday, April 8. Opening scoring, Memphis’ Kyler Robison drew a walk, scoring one run, which was followed by double by Noah Cantu, which gave Wellington a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the second.
