Organized by Wellington Coach Amy Inman, the Wellington Tennis Tournament is planned for Friday, July 19-Sunday, July 21. With a $10 per event, per division entry fee, players will compete in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Age divisions will depend on entries.

CTX Run Club hosts the first-ever Red, White and Run 5K, a walk-or-run event open to all ages, Thursday, July 4 at Fair Park in Childress. CTX Run Club, organized by Aaron and Ashley Ramos, hosts a one-mile run at 10 a.m. every Saturday morning beginning at Bobcat Nutrition.

CHILDRESS — Wrapping up the 2024 season, Greenbelt Junior Golf Association Childress Coordinator Abigail McGee announced the addition of the Bill Beck Cup, a competition honoring the late Bill Beck, an avid golfer,at the end-of-year tournament Thursday, June 27 at Stoney Ridge Golf Course.
