FREDERICK, Okla. — Erasing a 14-point halftime lead, the Childress Bobcats came away with a 20-14 overtime win against the Frederick Bombers Friday, Sept. 13 at Bomber Bowl in Frederick, Okla., securing their second non-district win of the season.
Wellington’s offensive line, including TJ Salinas (11), Major Brown (6), Noah Cantu (4), Kingston Molina (51), RJ Granadoz (60), Nick Nevarez (79) and Caleb Strickland (8), hold Friona to only one touchdown Friday night, Sept. 13 for the 42-7 win. The Red River Sun/Shauna Salinas

The Memphis Cyclones proved the infamous Friday the 13th superstition wrong, skidding past the Ralls Jackrabbits in a 19-14 final to snap a 13-game losing streak dating back to 2022 on Friday, Sept. 13 at Jackrabbit Field in Ralls.
