Lady Cats upset in bi-district round
In another nailbiter, the Wellington Lady Rockets concluded the 2024-2025 season in the 2A Division 1 UIL Area Championship, falling to the New Deal Lady Lions in overtime by a final score of 54-51 at Amarillo Caprock High School at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13. Childress’ Grace Foster recently made history, securing 1,797 career points—and counting—to cement her legacy in Lubbock Christian University history as the all-time leading scorer.
