WELLINGTON — The Wellington Skyrockets put together a 48-28 homecoming win Friday, Sept. 12 at Powell Field, downing the Friona Chieftains to remain undefeated.

AMARILLO — The Wellington Junior High School Lady Firecrackers and Wellington High School Lady Rockets recently competed at the 2025 Badger Run Saturday, Sept. 13 at Amarillo College.
The Childress High School cross country teams compete at the Crowell Invitational Monday, Sept. 15 at Copper Breaks State Park, where Selah Smith took a first-place individual finish, aiding the Lady Cats to a championship finish.
