Kids Crockin’ wraps up program

Through the Lens of LizKids Crockin’, sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Childress County, in conjunction with Childress County 4-H and the Childress Women’s League, wraps up another successful three-session program Monday, Sept. 22 at the Childress Elementary School Cafeteria.

Wellington blanked by Panhandle in first non-district loss of season

WELLINGTON — The once undefeated Wellington Skyrockets fell in their first non-district loss of the season, blanked by the Panhandle Panthers in a 41-0 shutout Friday, Sept. 26 at Powell Field in Wellington.

CHILDRESS — Coming off a 50-point victory, the Childress Bobcats were left stunned Friday, Sept. 26, as the City View Mustangs ignited for a 49-30 non-district victory at Fair Park Stadium in Childress.

Wellington defeats state-ranked Lubbock Christian

LUBBOCK — For the first time in four tries, the Wellington Skyrockets defeated the state-ranked Lubbock Christian Eagles, maintaining their undefeated status with a 44-22 on-the-road win last Friday, Sept. 19 at Masked Rider Field.
