Wellington blasts past Quanah

QUANAH — Blasting past Quanah, the Wellington Skyrockets remain undefeated in District 5-2A, having taken a 50-13 win over the Indians Friday, Oct. 17 in Quanah.In the matchup, Callen Kane thew for 313 yards and four touchdowns,while Noah Cantu racked up 130 rushing yards with a pair of scores.

LUBBOCK — Competing in the UIL Region 1 Cross Country Championships, held Monday, Oct. 20-Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock, Childress’ Selah Smith, as well as Wellington’s Taytum Kane, punched tickets to the upcoming state cross country championships.
