CHILDRESS — The Childress Lady Cats are ready for the playoffs, following recent matches against the Tulia Lady Hornets and Littlefield Lady Wildcats.In a Senior Night showdown, Childress took Tulia in a 3-0 win Tuesday, Oct.
Wellington’s Noah Cantu was recently selected in Press Pass Sports’ Top 10 Texas Panhandle and South Plains Football Performers from Week 9, announced Sunday, Oct. 26. Cantu, a senior running back for the Skyrockets, made play after play in Wellington’s 67-7 victory against Shamrock Friday, Oct. 24, scoring five touchdowns on 67 rushing yards with only nine carries to secure the Skyrockets are playoff bound and remain unbeaten in district.
