LOCKNEY — Childress Lady Cat powerlifters opened the season at the Lockney Invitational Monday, Jan. 19 at the Floyd County Unity Center.

Lady Rockets tally wins

WHEELER – The Wellington Lady Rockets tallied two wins last week, taking on the Wheeler Lady Stangs Tuesday, Jan. 13 and the Quanah Lady Indians Friday, Jan. 16. Traveling to Wheeler, the Lady Rockets won by a final score of 63-34, thanks to high-point scorer Taytum Kane, who put up 28 points.

WELLINGTON – The Wellington Rockets hosted the Panhandle Panthers on Friday, Jan. 9, falling by a final score of 60-48. Freshman Jax Cantu led in scoring for the Skyrockets with 19 points.
