JAYTON – The Wellington Rockets traveled to Jayton for a Tuesday, Jan. 20 contest against the Jaybirds, falling by a final score of 61-53.

Back from a shoulder injury sustained in the early season, Davis went 7-of-8 from the three-point line her first two games back on the floor, while Keys has averaged 15 points per game since the Bobcats began district play.

WHEELER – The Wellington Lady Rockets tallied two wins last week, taking on the Wheeler Lady Stangs Tuesday, Jan. 13 and the Quanah Lady Indians Friday, Jan. 16.Traveling to Wheeler, the Lady Rockets won by a final score of 63-34, thanks to high-point scorer Taytum Kane, who put up 28 points.
