Bobcats pick up first district win over Tulia
Childress Bobcat senior running back Da’Reon Mathis was recently selected to Press Pass Sports’ Top 10 Texas Panhandle Football Performers, announced Sunday, Oct. 15. Carrying the load for the offense, Mathis rushed for a game-high 162 yards on 16 carries with three touchdowns during the Bobcats’ first District 3-3A Division II win over Tulia Friday, Oct. 13.
