SPEARMAN — The Childress Bobcats picked up their second consecutive district win against the Spearman Lynx Friday, Oct. 20, thanks to Scout Smith, who, with a tied score and less than a minute on the clock, ran the ball in from a yard out to secure the Bobcats’ 28-21 victory.

CHILDRESS — Rebounding from a tough loss to archrival Canadian last week, the Childress Bobcats picked up their first district win of the season, stinging the Tulia Hornets in a 56-6 home win.

MEMPHIS — The Wellington Skyrockets shutout the Memphis Cyclones in a 36-0 blank Friday, Oct. 13 at George Berry Memorial Stadium, leaving the Cyclones searching for their first win of the season, while the Skyrockets maintained an undefeated district record.
