The Childress Lady Cat softball team takes a trip to Rocky Johnson Field in Lubbock, where they watched the Texas Tech Lady Raiders compete in the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic. Tech finished with a 6-0 sweep, taking down Abilene Christian University (24-0), North Texas University (10-2, 7-2), Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi (18-0, 24-1) and the University of Detroit Mercy (9-0).
